Pink November

Pink November was the name of this Boutique that used to be on U street in D.C. and this necklace reminded so so much of the jewelry selection that they had. I  bought this statement necklace this summer in NY, I am so in love. I am addicted to statement necklaces right now.

Watch Your Tempah

If there is one male artist that I am currently obsessed with it would have to be Tinie Tempah! Ever since I heard the beat of Pass Out drop last year I have been hooked on his music and his style. Being that he is of Nigerian decent I am even more happy that one of my favorite songs to come out of the UK is from him.

I LOVE men that can dress and carry themselves well, and Tinie Tempah is definitely that and more. I can't wait to see where his career will take him in the near future. His performance at Glastonbury was out of this world. My current guy crush....Tinie Tempah! Who's your guy crush of the moment?

Lagos Traffic

I went to Nigeria last in Summer 08, and I swear the traffic in Lagos wasn't this bad, or was it? Survival tips for Lagos Traffic, Music, Water, and AIR CONDITIONING!!! Nothing is worse than being in go slow and a truck comes by and your rushing to wind up your windows so that black smoke coming out of the exhaust doesn't make your white blouse grey!

There were times I would get so frustrated about the traffic, I know my family was thinking this spoiled girl. Thus I learned to plan my day around it, or should i say I had no choice. Nonetheless thank God for these songs they helped me make it through! lol....

My Favorite Summer Jams:

Pakuromo - Wiz Kid

What you wanna do - Wiz Kid

Wetin Day - Jesse Jagz

Wad Up- Wiz kid

D'Prince ft. Dbanj- Give it to Me (Even Kanye West is feeling this jam)

Naeto C's Album

Kelly Rowland - Motivation

Anything Rick Ross (seems all Nigerians are adding ughh! to their vocabulary)

What are your favorite traffic jams???

Slacking.com

I know I know where on earth have I been? I have been slacking.com when it comes to blogging as of lately. Remember I said before that this was going to be a very eventful summer, and that it has been. But my summer is sadly coming to an abrupt close as I start a hospital placement next week. I have been to NY and the DMV, USA, Nice and Monaco, France, and just got in from Lagos, Nigeria yesterday!

I have had a blessed and fabulous summer, I will be using the following blog post to display the various pictures I took whilst abroad. And I'll also be making my blog rounds... I hope everyone has been fabulous! In fact I know you guys have been!

4th of July

If there is one celebrity that I admire for her style and just down to earth personality its none other than Kelis. She is one of the coolest, funniest, and stylish people I have ever met. Last summer I was blessed enough to spend my 4th of July with her. Many know now that she can cook, and she blessed us with a BBQ before she performed that day.

(*The last two pics aren't from her fourth of July performance)

One thing I admire about Kelis is she has no stylist and styles herself. She is original and fresh! She just loves fashion and fashion loves her. Happy 4th of July!!! Make sure you play her song all day and night long. (Please excuse the poor quality of these photos my DSLR was undergoing surgery at the time).
Unfortunately I am in England Packing up my flat and trying to downsized my wardrobe! Will just live through last years memories to make myself feel better... So how are you spending you 4th of July?

The Church

After a long night and early morning of chilling in Brooklyn with friends when we got back to Harlem, let's just say I was beat but loved the church front so told Ace to snap a few shots... One thing I like about Harlem is there is sooo much history around you i.e. its home to the Harlem Renaissance.
